In September 2016, 43-year-old Andrew Hall was beaten by police in Bradford, UK. The officers took him to the hospital, where he was injected with a sedative, but his heart could not stand it, and he died.
In September 2016, 43-year-old Andrew Hall was admitted to hospital after consuming large amounts of alcohol and prescription drugs. Police say Hall attacked a nurse at the hospital, after which officers who arrived at the scene took him to the station. CCTV footage shows six police officers hitting and kicking Hall, then knocking him to the ground and hitting him several times in the head. The officers then handcuffed him and took him back to the hospital, where he allegedly continued to resist. The police, together with the doctors, decided to inject Hall with a sedative, but his heart could not stand it, and he died on the spot.
In April 2021, the Hall family is still pushing for justice. On April 20, 2021, another court hearing was held, at which the jury was shown a video from a surveillance camera in which the officers beat Hall.
