Darius Gore
Darius Gore, 28, was killed during a high speed police chase in Baltimore, Maryland.
Gore was struck on the evening of March 21, 2020, when police were allegedly engaged in a high-speed chase through northwest Baltimore. While police chased a woman driving an allegedly stolen car, the suspect car t-boned Gore’s car, causing it to spin and strike another car.
Gore’s passenger broke his left leg and two ribs. Gore’s neck was broken and he suffered an acute brain bleed. Gore was taken to a hospital where he underwent surgery to remove a part of his skull, but remained in a coma until he died on April 17, 2020.
In April 2021 Gore’s mother has sued Baltimore City Police. Darius’ family’s attorneys are seeking monetary damages and a change to department regulations.

CASE STATUS:
The initiative group has requested the clarification from US President Joseph Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland. The initiative group believes it is important to fight against police brutality and, if necessary, will provide legal and financial assistance to the family of the victim.
