Berlynn Matthews
Berlynn Matthews, 21, died after a police officer hit her on his motorcycle in Baltimore, Maryland.
In May 2021 Berlynn Matthews stopped to help Joshua Day, 34, who had been struck by a vehicle while crossing the road. When she got out of her car, 24-year-old William Collazo-Brown, an off-duty police officer, hit both pedestrians on his motorcycle.
William Collazo-Brown was allegedly drunk while riding his motorcycle. He has been arrested and charged with DUI related offenses and his police powers are currently suspended.
Matthews’ wants justice and answers about what happened. Police are investigating the crash.

The initiative group has requested the clarification from US President Joseph Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland. The initiative group believes it is important to fight against police brutality and, if necessary, will provide legal and financial assistance to the family of the victim.
