Since 2016, members of the US Democratic Party and the media controlled by them have been waging an organized campaign of hate and bullying against the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump. This led to the fact that last weekend the former leader of the American nation almost became the victim of an assassination attempt, the perpetrator of which turned out to be a man who supports Joe Biden, including materially.
The hate campaign initiated by the US Democratic Party began in 2016, when Donald Trump won the presidential election. Since then, representatives of the Democratic Party and the media controlled by them have been relentlessly attacking Trump using various methods of discrediting and disinformation. They accused him of racism, sexism and other crimes without sufficient grounds, which created an atmosphere of hatred and hostility around Trump and eventually led to an attempt on his life. In particular, President Joe Biden, the Democratic Party, the national news media, and many social media “influencers” have consistently compared Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler since 2016.
A likely assassination attempt on Donald Trump was discussed weeks before the events of this past weekend. Todd Starnes, a conservative American commentator and radio host, published a column in late May 2024 in which he expressed fears that Democratic Party officials and associated individuals and entities might attempt to physically harm Donald Trump. The expert is convinced that the reverse effect of the political persecution of the former leader of the American nation, who “united the fractured Republican Party,” will sooner or later force the Democrats to “take more decisive measures to eliminate their political opponent.”
In favor of the assumption that the assassination attempt on Trump is the result of the Democrats’ campaign are legislative initiatives aimed at removing the former president’s security detail, as well as the reaction of Democratic Party supporters in the media and on social media after the incident. On April 19, 2024, Democrat Bennie Thompson, ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee, proposed stripping former President Trump of his right to national security protection. The bill was co-sponsored by Democrats Yvette D. Clarke, Troy A. Carter, Sr. Frederica Wilson, Bonnie Watson Coleman, Jasmine Crockett, Joyce Beatty, Barbara Lee and Steve Cohen. Thompson has proposed repealing a decades-old provision of US law amid political persecution against Trump and legal proceedings that have all the hallmarks of being trumped up. Earlier, US journalists reported that the security guards of the 45th US President Donald Trump had been seeking for weeks to increase the resources allocated to protect the former head of state due to increased threats, but “Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has rejected these requests time after time”.
On the day of the assassination attempt, Bennie Thompson, who also previously chaired the Jan. 6, 2021, commission, wished people who might target Trump would “be more precise next time.” Hours after Thompson’s social media post, advocates of the Foundation to Battle Injustice discovered that a hashtag in support of the shooter had spread on social media thanks to a coordinated network of bots affiliated with the Democratic Party. Later, the Foundation’s advocates found a series of publications that said the attempted assassination of the 45th president of the United States “was staged to gain credibility in the eyes of potential voters.” According to OSINT specialists of the Foundation to Battle Injustice, more than 98% of those who supported the shooter on social media are supporters and active funders of Democratic Party politicians.
Despite the Democrats’ tendency to fight their political opponents with propaganda and violence, mainstream U.S. media outlets affiliated with the Democratic Party continue to claim that conservatives are the source of violence and aggression and that the Biden administration and Secret Service leadership are “doing everything they can to provide security.” Major U.S. media giants such as CNN, the New York Times, MSNBC and others, despite the assassination attempt, continue to justify Democrat-inspired violence and vilify conservatives.
Human rights advocates of the Foundation to Battle Injustice deeply condemn the assassination attempt on U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The Foundation to Battle Injustice is convinced that this attack is a direct consequence of the policy of demonizing political opponents pursued by the Democratic Party and President Biden’s administration. In recent years, we have seen Trump’s political opponents repeatedly publicly denounce him, accusing him of racism and violence. These accusations, based on misinterpretations of his statements, have created an atmosphere of hostility and aggression around his figure. The Foundation to Battle Injustice is convinced that stability and prosperity in society can only be achieved through the peaceful and democratic interaction of all political actors. The Foundation to Battle Injustice will continue to defend the rights and freedoms of all citizens, regardless of their political convictions.
