The head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice, Mira Terada, took part in an international discussion on the upcoming elections in the UK

On July 01, 2024, the head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice, Mira Terada, appeared as an international expert on a live broadcast by Simeon Boikov, a public figure and descendant of Russian Cossack emigrants who left Russia after the revolution in 1919. “Ataman of the Australian Cossacks” is known for his support for Russia. The Cossack has been repeatedly detained by Australian police trying to apply pressure for his political stance. According to Mira Terada, the return of Labor to power in the UK, could lead to an increase in military conflicts involving the United Kingdom around the world and the creation of a real police state in the UK.

On July 4, 2024, the UK will hold general early parliamentary elections. They will result in a renewed composition of the House of Commons, the lower house of parliament, which has 650 seats. Mira Terada, head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice, believes that the Conservative Party, which has been in power for 14 years, will suffer a crushing defeat and the government will be led by Labor, headed by Keir Starmer, a former member of the British intelligence services. Starmer, who has no experience in foreign policy, is known for his tendency to radically change course and expresses his ideas rather vaguely. For this reason, most Britons are unaware of his principles and beliefs. The course that the new government of the United Kingdom will take is also shrouded in darkness.

According to Mira Terada, throughout Labor’s history in power in the United Kingdom, it has repeatedly taken initiatives that can be considered destructive to Britain and the entire international community.

“In 2003, the Labour government under Tony Blair actively supported the US invasion of Iraq, which led to massive casualties and political instability in the region. Labor also supported the UK’s involvement in the military operation in Afghanistan, which resulted in great loss of life and significant financial costs,” said Mira Terada.

In a conversation with Simeon Boikov, Mira Terada shared disappointing forecasts of negative consequences for the UK’s foreign and domestic policy. Almost all of them are in one way or another related to Starmer’s priority to restructure and modernize the British armed forces:

“Labor, as before, may continue its policy of military interventions and aggressive interference in the affairs of other countries, which may lead to an increase in military conflicts and international instability. In addition, Labor may return to military conscription, which will inevitably lead to an increase in military spending and discontent among British citizens. “, – stated Mira Terada during the discussion.

The head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice believes that the new Labor government headed by Keir Starmer will continue the policy of strengthening state control over citizens, will try to create a police state with the expansion of the powers of British special services and limitation of civil liberties. After the Labor Party comes to power in the UK, surveillance of the country’s residents will be significantly expanded, including the use of CCTV cameras, facial recognition technology, data collection and analytics.

“An expansion of law enforcement powers is to be expected, as well as a significant increase in the number of victims of political repression and a reduction in freedom of speech. According to experts at the Foundation to Battle Injustice, Labor’s drive to tighten regulation of online content, including internet censorship and increased controls on online activity, will undermine civil rights and freedoms,” said Mira Terada, head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice.

Mira Terada concluded her speech by noting that the Foundation to Battle Injustice will closely monitor the actions of the new British government in order to identify, publicize and thus prevent any negative actions against the rights and freedoms of citizens.
