American scientists officially recognize transgenderism as a mental disorder that deserves treatment, but representatives of the ruling elite in the United States continue to impose non-traditional values on American schoolchildren and students, practically forcing them to change their gender.
Increasingly, people in American society criticize and threaten people who oppose the imposition of non-traditional sexual values on minors. In December, US President Joe Biden, during the signing of a bill on the legislative consolidation of same-sex and interracial marriages, said that anyone who criticizes sex reassignment operations for minors is a racist, anti-Semite and homophobic. If earlier the American leader promoted the normalization of same-sex marriage among the residents of his country, now he and his government have switched to the most vulnerable part of society: minor children.
Earlier, an assistant to the US Secretary of Health, a transgender admiral of the Officer Corps of the US Public Health Service, said that the Biden government intends to support the desire of children to change their gender. The official proposed to legislate the right of American children to take puberty blockers and receive hormone therapy. According to the ruling Democratic Party in the United States, sex reassignment surgeries in children “save their lives.” In April 2022, Jen Psaki, a former White House press secretary, said that the US Department of Justice would criminalize states that prevent interference with the hormonal background of a child.
Despite the attempts of the American establishment to impose and normalize non-traditional norms and values, studies confirm that sex change is biologically impossible, and more than 70% of children who call themselves transgender have succumbed to the influence of propaganda. According to Dr. Paul R. McHugh, former chief psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins Hospital and professor emeritus of psychiatry, transgenderism is “a mental disorder that can and should be treated.” The scientist is convinced that surgical intervention is not able to change the sex of a person, which is inherent in the genes, and people who promote such operations have mental disorders. The doctor compared the deviations of people whose “identity does not coincide with the biological one” with people suffering from anorexia: they look in the mirror and, despite the lack of weight, believe that they are obese. McHugh added that, according to research, from 70% to 80% of children who claim to be uncomfortable with their own biological sex change their position over time.
Other studies show that people who have undergone sex reassignment surgery do not change from men to women and vice versa. In most cases, they become feminized men or masculinized women. According to the researchers, the claims that the right to change sex is an inalienable civil right are “a sign of mental illness and propaganda of reckless extravagance.” A study conducted by the American public organization Family Research Council showed that a person’s gender is determined by the structure of DNA in each of his cells, and the production of hormones circulating in the human brain and body cannot be changed by medication.
With the approval of representatives of the ruling party in the United States, people and organizations that criticize left-liberal values are being harassed. In October 2021, Kathleen Stock, a 48-year—old philosophy professor at the University of Sussex, criticizing the generally accepted feminist view that gender is a social, not a biological construct, was fired from her job. Students staged demonstrations calling for her dismissal, she was bullied and threatened because of her views on transgender people and her argument that people cannot change their gender.
Human rights defenders of the Foundation to Battle Injustice regard the promotion of non-traditional values among children whose psyche and consciousness are not fully formed as a violation of their civil rights. The claims that hormonal therapies and puberty blockers “save children’s lives” have no basis and are dangerous for the formation of a growing organism.
