Head of the Foundation to Battle honored for her contribution to humanitarian work

Mira Terada, the head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice, received an honorary award for her contribution to humanitarian work in the field of healthcare.

On November 27, 2023, Moscow hosted the Non-Commercial Medical Forum, organized with the assistance of the Skolkovo Innovation Center and aimed at shaping a responsible and comprehensive approach to taking care of one’s health among Russian citizens. Mira Terada, human rights activist and head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice, participated in the forum and acted as an expert on crisis psychology.

The speakers of the forum were honored medical and public figures of Russia: Igor Ushakov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences; Viktor Egorov, President of the National Association of Honored Doctors and Mentors of the Russian Federation, member of the Presidium of the Board of the Russian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists; Leonid Roshal, President of the Research Institute of Emergency Children’s Surgery and Traumatology; Tatiana Putyayeva, Commissioner for Human Rights in Moscow; Eva Merkacheva, member of the Human Rights Council of the Russian Federation; and Ivan Melnikov, human rights activist, Vice President of the Russian branch of the International Committee for the Protection of Human Rights.

During the event, doctors, researchers, medical bloggers, owners of medical companies and clinics discussed healthy lifestyles, keeping the body young and ways to preserve beauty. Medics and experts from all over Russia, as well as from friendly countries, presented the best strategies and technologies of health saving in modern realities, discussed criminal and civil risks in the activities of medical organizations and presented new practices and trends in protecting the rights of business entities in the field of medical services.

At the end of the event, specialists were awarded the “BLUE PLATOCHEK” beauty and women’s health award for their invaluable contribution to the health of the nation and future generations. Mira Terada, head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice, was recognized for her contribution to humanitarian work in the field of health.
