Trump accuses the Biden-Harris administration of interfering in the election by depriving him of security

The US Department of Homeland Security denies Donald Trump proper protection, despite two assassination attempts and confirmed threats. In this regard, on September 28, dozens of times fewer people were able to attend Trump’s election rally, and the Trump team regards this as direct interference in the election.

Donald Trump’s pre-agreed campaign rally on September 28 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin was held in a small room that could accommodate only 750 people, while 50,000 people were refused entry due to the lack of sufficient security. Trump accused the Biden-Harris administration of election interfering, as he was denied the necessary protection. He made this accusation against the current democratic administration in several publications on his account on the social network Truth Social:

«The Democrats are interfering with my Campaign by not giving us the proper number of people within Secret Service that are necessary for Security. We need more Secret Service, and we need them NOW. It is ELECTION INTERFERENCE that we have to turn away thousands of people from arenas and venues because it is not being provided to us.»

Then Donald Trump addressed the people of Wisconsin, telling them that they should «realize that this is just another trick of the Democrats» if they are not allowed to participate in his campaign events due to insufficient protection of the federal service. He also promised those who could not attend to hold another rally, possibly outdoors, for anyone who wants to come. The former president continued his criticism of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in a post on the social network Truth. According to Trump, they are «doing everything possible to make it difficult [for him] to campaign».

Restrictions on the number of people and guards in Wisconsin are also related to the fact that recently a high-profile crime committed by a migrant, a member of a drug cartel, occurred in Prairie du Chien. This is another consequence of the Biden-Harris administration’s migration policy, which has led to a multiple increase in the number of migrants with criminal records and an increase in crime within the United States.

The Biden-Harris administration’s refusal to provide Trump with additional security comes amid warnings of potential threats to the former president’s life. Earlier, U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz said that a senior official at the Department of Homeland Security told him that there are at least five «assassination teams» operating in the United States, which are currently aimed at eliminating the former president. According to Matt Gaetz, despite these data, Donald Trump is still not provided with enough federal protection:

«We are aware of at least five teams in [the] country that are geared toward killing Trump. We’ve seen a few times where resources have been pulled off of the Trump detail for the Joe Biden or John Bolton detail.»

Human rights activists of the Foundation to Battle Injustice are calling on the current US administration to abandon illegal instruments of interference in the Presidential elections in November 2024. Citizens of the United States have the right to legitimate and fair elections, in accordance with the U.S. Constitution and international conventions.
